Summer In Grandpa’s Garden

Join us in learning how to grow food in Grandpa’s Garden. Together We will prepare the soil, plant the seeds, water, and nurture and harvest the fruits and vegetables that we grow. We can grow all of our favorite foods and discover how a BIG fruit like watermelon can grow from a tiny little seed.

Summer in Grandpa’s  Garden is a simple introduction of plant structure and the plant growth cycle to young children. This book discusses the process of gardening from preparing the soil, to planting the seed, to harvesting the crop. The story is simplified and includes labeled diagrams of plant structures while explaining the growth process of common garden fruits and vegetables.
